God is the focus and priority of our worship. He is THE AUDIENCE and we worship Him in Spirit and in Truth (John 4:24).

Fellowship

 
 
Fellowship is an integral part of the activities at Anchor Baptist.  It often begins with a handshake and a smile as you enter the sanctuary on Sunday morning.  It is also Biblical.  In Acts chapter 2 verse 42 we read the following about fellowship in the early church. “They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” 
 
There are many small  groups at Anchor so fellowship can be a small gathering or can involve the entire church.  In April of 2010 we had a church-wide gathering in the ARC (Anchor Resource Center) to celebrate Anchor's 10th anniversary.  The ARC helps facilitate fellowship by providing classrooms, a craft room, a kitchen, activity rooms for the youth and children, a full sized basketball court, and an indoor volleyball court.  Below are some pictures of our church-wide celebration in the ARC.
